TINTEX SILK DYE is recommended as a colourant specifically for silk. It will also colour wool, nylon and feathers.

When dyeing dark colours it is recommended to use double strength. Add Alum (Ammonium Sulphate – which is included in the Silk Dye Pack) or White Vinegar.
